Week Two: Faded Cadence, Our Band.

What's crackin'.
Here is an image of our chosen band for our Media Coursework Music Video.

(From Left to Right)

Kaila Whyte, Chris Jackson, Torz Hill and Matt Carter.
They have replied to our emails and seem eager to participate in the production of our video.
Here's their MySpace page: www.myspace.com/fadedcadence

They formed in October 2008, when Matt Carter and Chris Jackson wished to mash light acoustic sounds and feelgood melodies together. They first started performing at small pub gigs and open mic nights. Then, they gained fans on MySpace with a few demos of their music on the website.

Kaila Whyte joined the ban in March 2009 as the drummer and supplying backing vocals. By June 2009, they were playing bigger gigs and had been mentioned on Tom Robinson's BBC 6 show. Violinist Torz Hill joined the band in August 2009. They have recently been busking in Birmingham City Centre.

They have their first album out, called Fireworks, which you can purchase on iTunes.

Next time,
We will soon be uploading our textual analysis's and the notes on 'Video Killed The Radiostar: The History of the Pop Music Video', Channel 4 (1999).

Bye :D
