Coursework: DONE!

Hey all,

Well this is the final blog post from Media Group C :( Just wantedto say a quick thank you to:

Overall, we are very pleased with how it turned out; although we had our differences we managed to finish it! And make it awesome! Hope you enjoy it as much as we have :)

Week Done: Evaluation

Okay, memory stick at hand, the evaluation can be moved over to the blog!!
After spending the time maping out the questions we filmed our answers and talked about our final piece (which we didn't realise we didn't actually have to make!)

The End Of The Project: Evaluation.

Due to unforseen circumstances, we have not been able to upload the full Evaluation to the Blog. Although, we would like to make clear that the Evaluation is complete.

The College wireless network has a fault, and as we did not have a memory stick or the use of email, we have not been able to transfer the Evaluation from the Apple Macs to a computer with internet connection.

Hopefully, we will finally post the Evaluation tomorrow. :)

Week Last: Mindmapping the Evaluation questions.

Hey there,

We spent about an hour just mindmapping some answers to the four big evaluation questions and we decided to scan them onto the blog just for the record. We will be expanding on these ideas and notions further in our Vlog Evaluation, but just in case we miss anything whilst filming, here are the basic notes. :)

We have supplied questionnaires about the music video to various students at the college and we have received mostly positive responses. The main issue that was raised, was the quality of the video. However, we had to export the video from Final Cut Express in order to post it onto YouTube and the blog, this comprimised the quality as we had to change the format to MPEG-4.

A few other people noted that the lip syncing on a few of the shots in the music video had slipped. Unfortunately, this was another side effect of the change in format.

We honestly can't believe that tomorrow is the final day, it's amazing and has gone by so incredibly fast.
Anyway, we'll continue to post right up until the last minute, (that is if the wireless internet at Ludlow is back up!)

Week Last: Questionnaire Graphs!

Okay,

So we got people to answer our questionnaires and have put the answers in to a graphs. There was also space on the questionnaires for more details and thoughts about the images!

We asked the question: Do the effects that have been used compliment the video? some answers were - it suits the mood, like the use of grey scale and colour, narrative was good, narrative and song being divided was good.

We asked the question:Is there anything that you can think could have been done to improve the music video? some answers were - the quality of the video could have been better, it's great, the narrative was great, lip syncing in places seemed out.

Because of the format we needed to convert the video to in able to upload it to facebook and youtube, the quality became less and the lip syncing in places became unclear.

Week Last: Constructing the Digipak!

Hey everyone!
We have constructed the Digipak!! Yay!! =] Although we didn't actually have to create it, we have! We're pleased with the final product although we did make a few mistakes with the photo sizing and therefore we couldn't fold the sides in that easily. So we still have our first draft of construction!

Final Day: Advert
